Hello,

I don't know much about programming, but I have been using Drupal 5.1 last 2 months and I really like it. Still I have quite a bothering problem.I have been searching around the forums but could not find a solution.

The mail sent through my site (for example forgotten password or create new account) doesn't get recieved. I have tried this with Yahoo and Hotmail accounts. Users don't recieve the mail (it doesn't get delivered to the junk mail folder either). I guess it gets somehow blocked because the problem does not exist with Gmail or Gmail-hosted accounts.

I read something about Return-Path in Header of the mails. I installed Return-Path Module but the path didn't change. It is still nobody@mywebhostprovider.com. Could this be the reason?

I tried setting up the smtp module, but unfortunately I get errors und couldn't make it work either. Maybe I should open another thread about that.

Do you have any ideas what I could do to get the mail delivered? Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem with yahoo and hotmail accounts. I'm currently searching for answers, but have yet to find any.

Since I changed my hosting company the problem went away.

Unfortunately up until now Return-Path for Drupal 5 has been broken.
While the changing of the server has fixed your problem now, had Return-Path been working previously that should also have resolved your problem.
