Can a lightmodal link jump to a named anchor inside a text?

My menu item contains this link: /helppage#sectionC

If I click on it it opens the helppage and jumps to the named anchor in the text named sectionC

If I add a rel="lightmodal" to this menu link the help page opens in a lightbox but does not jump to Section C.

Is this possible?
I have been trying all kinds of things but until now with no luck..
