Image Module is required by Image Watermark even though docs say otherwise:

The one I read was in README.txt, but I think this affects something on the d.o watermark module page as well.

I think both descriptions (readme and module page) are the same.
As I said, this is easily misunderstood and should be updated...

BTW, the first sentence on the page is:
"This modules allows a Drupal site running the image module to overlay each image with a watermark."
