Facing error while adding a product in drupal commerce

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function entity_metadata_field_property_get() in /sites/all/modules/entity/includes/entity.wrapper.inc on line 444, .../commerce/products/add/package

Every time i try to add a new product i am shown a white screen and in the error logs this error is shown.. Is this error coming because of some dependency?
