views - list nodes with it's comments .. again..

Hi there,
from time to time I'm struggling with this module.. :-)

I want to point something out:

1. I have a view with nodes and the comments of the nodes should be shown within the view, but they aren't!! Is the reason the point in the readme, that something else uses "_node_view($node, $cid = NULL) " ?? Or are there other reasons?

What kind of possibilities I have to show node with it's comments in a view? Cause of the option "show node comments" seems not to work in every case?!

My idea: 1. embed a "node comment view" in the views node-template! Other better solutions?

2. I like to override nodes with panels, could views use this "overrides" as "node template". It seems it can't use it.

You write something in the readme from using panels... this point in an other direction?
