Very odd ... after selecting Submit FAQ under Create content, there are no submit buttons at the bottom of the page. I can view and configure all of the FAQ settings, but when I choose to create a new question/answer, I see the entire form but no submit buttons.

I'm logged on with a full-access administrator role (ability to administer, create, edit, edit own and view faq). I have some modules installed but not a significant number; most are CCK fields, image modules, JS and jQuery tools, and views modules.

Am I missing something else?

Oops, sorry ... a bit more investigation uncovered this issue is due to a problem with the CCK Wizard module -- http://drupal.org/node/154250

Seems to make preview/submit disappear on all 'Create content' forms, not just Submit FAQ.
