E-commerce System with Orders instantly sent to a Fax machine

Hello Everyone:

I'm looking to setup an e-commerce website for a restaurant that will allow people order food online. Most likely I am planning Drupal e-commerce.

I'd like to have all orders submitted sent to a fax. As it is important that the orders get to the restaurant, I want to setup the simplest solution, and that would be a fax machine, rather than a computer with an internet connection and email utility. This could be done directly through the order submission process in Drupal, or by having all emails sent automatically forwarded to a fax machine.

Is this a Drupal issue or a hosting issue?

Thanks for your help,
Adam

GoDaddy's Fax Thru Email does not do it automatically...

GoDaddy has a Fax thru email service. It can send emails to a fax machine, but not automatically.

Why not set up for immediate printing of incoming email. Say, text based only on a simple thermal slip printer? Might end up being easier to set up than a fax?

There are a number of services such as efax and myfax that allow you to send an email that can be sent to a fax machine. It is possible to set up an email address through this service for the restaurant that would receive the fax.

I'm trying to do the same
