Hi, I have managed to embed Gallery2 into my Drupal website, but I just can't seem to get Lightbox to work with the image thumbnails inside my albums. I can't figure out what's wrong, I'm totally stumped. Is Gallery2 being used in www.stellapowerdesign.net? Any help is appreciated. I'm currently developing on my home PC, so I can't provide a link. Thanks in advance

No, I've customised the "Image Gallery" layout for www.stellapowerdesign.net. I'll take a look at the gallery2 stuff but I need to re-install it so it could be a while before I get back to you. However, if you could give me the following info, then I might be able to identify the problem earlier.

  1. What browser are you using and on what platform? Have you tried both IE and Firefox?
  2. There was a problem with IE browsers (see #179201). Can you try the patch from that issue or the latest dev version?
  3. Do any errors appear in Firefox's Error Console (under Tools menu)? If so, what are they?
  4. Could you send me the generated source code for the page in question?
  5. What are your lightbox2 settings?

Hi Stella, thank you for replying. This is really weird, I didn't change a thing except deactivate the Lightbox2 module and reactivate it and now it's working just like it should. I did realize one thing, although I could be wrong. Apparently, the theme being used in Gallery2 needs to be modified to work with the Lightbox script, so before everything else, Lightbox needs to be working in the standalone Gallery2 application. If it's working there, it should then work when embedded in Drupal. But, like I said, I could be wrong. Thanks again for the help.

Can you provide more information on the theme changes you needed to make? This may help other users who encounter this problem, or there might be a way to do it in the module.

i have problems with gallery2 + lightbox to my drupal 6 integration.
gallery2 + lightbox standalone works fine, i reall y like it. But when i try to open gallery inside of drupal, i have my browser crashing(white screen and just waiting. nothing.) All browsers are the same(IE, Firefox, Chrome), except opera =)

What might be the reason of that?
