Hi
In order to make things as clear as possible I will start by writing out my scenario:
I currently have 2 different roles. Role A has the ability to subscribe to content and I am using autosubscribe to automatically subscribe them to the content they create. Every thing works as it should in this case.
However Role B can't subscribe to specific content, it can only subscribe to tags. But autosubcribe subscribes them to the content they comment on anyway and thus causing them to get 2 e-mails whenever somebody else comments on content they already commented on.
Has anyone ran into this issue? Do you know of any possible fixes?

inversed commentedI'm also running into this but have not seen anything to help. I think this is a known issue and that the behavior could be as designed. However, it doesn't make a lot of sense to the end-user since all they see are duplicate emails triggered by the same event.

And here is a specific mention of the issue but I' still not sure if this is a feature or a bug: http://drupal.org/node/318577
