Hi all,

I'm here from http://drupal.org/node/1793534.

I'm using Adaptivetheme and browscap to hide some regions in my theme for mobile, but the same regions become hidden in tablet also: I don't want this.

Does browscap return an ipotetic "$is_tablet" group as well as "$is_mobile"?

Thank you very much!

No, unfortunately the useragent data provided by the Browser Capabilities Project contains a single "mobile" flag.

You can see all of the available information about your current browser by visiting the Your Browser page.

For "device groups" functionality, you'll want to look at something like Mobile Tools.

This question is really motivated to activate againe, due to that there is enormous differences in a communication to a holder of Mobile against a Tablet.
I really can se a BIG need to be able to change my communications between the two situations "behind" a mobile or tablet.

It is a big need to be able to decide if the communication shall meet a person behind a mobile, or a tablet, so let think about this question one more time. IT WOULD BE GRATE IF THIS LEEDS TO A SOLUTION!

I.E.
The Browscap amount of DATA on the server side is also very big and it would be grate to break them apart in two stacks, one for mobiles detection and one for tablets.
