Would it be possible to set Schema.org properties to taxonomy term pages? Eg. I got a dictionary of terms for Cities, I would like their page listing nodes to be set as type AdministrativeArea. Furthermore taxonomy term pages may have fields with informations related to the taxonomy term itself.

At the moment you can set a schema.org mapping for the fields of taxonomy terms, but there is no UI element for the type. If you are using features you could add this via code in your feature export, the RDF API supports a schema.org type for taxonomy terms, there is just no UI to set it yet.
