Instead of allowing HTML in the bodytext field, it would be a good idea to add a separate configurable Read More -link that could be appended to bodytext in code level.

Headlines can now be linked to original entity and an additional "Read more" link can be appended after bodytext. Works currently with nodes, but should be possible to add to other entities with further testing and small changes.
