I have a lot of Wordpress sites, but I have a possible client with a Drupal site, so here I am...learning away. That being said, I hope this isn't the dumbest question ever.
I've installed Drupal 7 and I am basically stuck right at the beginning with trying to get a WYSIWYG going and I am beyond having trouble.
I think my biggest issue is not having any idea where I am supposed to be looking for libraries...literally, where are they? FTP?
Here is what I have done so far:
1) I downloaded the WYSIWYG module and installed via Modules--->Install New Module
2) Clicked "Configure" to configure the module.
When I click on "Configure" I get a screen that says "there are no editor libraries installed...." which is all fine. So I download an editor library such as TinyMCE.
******This is where I have problems!!!*******
Here are the directions on that page.
Extract the archive and copy its contents into a new folder in the following location:
So the actual library can be found at:
None of the above seems all that hard, but no matter how much I search I can not seem to find out....
WHERE TO LOOK for these libraries?
Do I find them in my FTP program? Because they aren't there. I've been able to find "sites/all" by looking in my tree under: /public_html/drupal/mydrupal/sites/all" but I don't see the appropriate libraries there.
Do I create them in my Filezilla? I've tried creating the directories, names as above and extracting the folders into those directories...but that doesn't seem to be the answer.
I hope all of this isn't a huge rookie mistake, but I am TOTALLY LOST here.
Every time I find a video or article, it just says "put this in the sites/all/bla/bla library" and since I don't know where that is, and creating it doesn't seem to be of any help I am not progressing at all.
I hope nobody laughs at me, but this is brutal...please help.
