This is my 3rd drupal site -- check out my latest release (wowdev.immot.us --going to live at --> wowhall.org)
Anyway, I'm up and running with 7.15.
-I logged in with the automatically created "admin" user.
-I created the user that I want "jordan@..." and set it as an administrator role, then I logged in with it.
-I go into Administration >> People to delete the generic admin (like I've done in my other sites), but neither of my attempts to remove it work.
1. Tick the checkbox to select admin. Then select "cancel the selected user accounts" under UPDATE OPTIONS. No dice.
2. Click "edit" next to the admin username, scroll down to the bottom to select cancel, the cancel button isn't there.
I even went so far as to downgrade the user account to "authenticated user" then tried the same things. No luck. Anyone have any ideas what I'm missing? No modules have been added yet, just the core. Do I need to enable Update Manager (module) or ChaosToools (CTools)?

User 1 is special and I suspect it can't be deleted so as to avoid problems if it goes missing.

That's good info, thank's nevets. If it's better common practice, I think I'll go ahead and put my "jordan@..." user name and password in for User 1 and keep that. Thanks again.
