Blog Comments appearing partially in sidebars (Gagarin, SEO; Drupal 5.0), but Poll Comments Fine?

I am curious if anyone else is having this issue.

In the SEO and Gagarin themes comments on blogs are starting in the side bars. Comments are fine on Polls though, so I am confused where to look to remedy this issue. I posted some issues in the specific theme support areas (SEO and (Gagarin), but thought some of the theme-masters here could give some tips on what may be wrong.

Some quick screenshots. This is the SEO theme with the comments partly in the right top column and the remainder below the blog content. Notice how the two sidebars got pushed down into the content column. This is a Poll with comments in SEO, and it looks perfect.

Gagarin is giving me similar issues.

Why would Poll comments be fine and Blog comments be broken like this? I currently have the Gagarin theme enabled (because SEO, as much as I like it and want to use it, is broken to the point of being unusable).
