Adding coupons for a group of user [#179854]

I'm currently making a ecommerce website based on drupal and uc.

I have to make possible for users to invite new users, and i've to give a coupon to these new users.

Unfortunately, i can't set a coupon (for example 5% for all recommanded users) for a group of user.

This would definitely be a killer feature :)

Interesting idea.

How should it be limited to those users? Would it be based upon roles? Based on when they've signed up?

Currently the coupon module supports assigning coupons to roles. I used this approach to differentiate coupons for retail and wholesale buyers.
