I'm just getting started with Drupal. How do I view anything that I am creating?

(it would help the community to help you if you could be a little more descriptive as to what you are trying to do.)

generally, like any other site, you create pages (nodes), then point to them. then the fun begins.

if you have not done so yet, suggest reading the The Drupal Cookbook (for beginners) to get your feet wet; really! you might also consider the handbook page at http://drupal.org/node/176821.
