How could I get a single, untyped favorites list?

I don't think it's really that important or interesting to the end-user of a page which content type a given node happens to be, so separating the favorites list by content type seems like an artificial distinction, also meaning I need to translate all the content-type names which hitherto were not visible to the end-user. Ergo, I am asking if there's a way to make the module worth as before, but only outputting a single list of favorites, not separated by content-types?
