Recording comments as audio voicemail files

I've just tested out Evoca. The idea of recording a voicemail comment instead of typing it is simply great. But what I really didn't like is that everything has to go through the Evoca website.

I know there are loads of audio modukes in drupal. I'm wondering if any of those media modules in Drupal allow for this basic functionality to alow users to post comments on each other's blogs in a way that they can chose to either type a comment, or to simply record it as an audio file, which can then be sent to recepient's e-mail (like with GoogleTalk) and be played through an embedded audio player.
