I tried to install on my localhost (xampp 1.7.7). I encountered the following :-

I opted for the default 'Enable all apps' and the 'Enable all content'.

1) Warnings after the 'Installing Apps' step. (install NodeMaker Warnings.JPG)
2) Errors during the 'Installing Content' step (install NodeMaker Error.JPG)

Previous installation attempts requied higher php 'max_execution_time' setting. Increased this to 900. Anything less was causing the installation to fail.

I have never seen the 'statuses' errors from your first screenshot 'install NodeMaker Warnings.JPG'. I will pay close attention and see if I can reproduce it.

The second screenshot 'install NodeMaker Error.JPG' indicates there was an issue saving the default content images. I will look into that.

At the moment, I can successfully run the install (selecting all apps and all content) if my max_execution_time setting is at 60. It does still fail at 30 and I am currently working for a resolution to that. The errors you posted above are not related to max_execution_time.

Please make sure you are always using the latest dev snapshot when doing a fresh install. It changes very frequently...

Thanks! Feel free to keep testing/trying and report back.

Thanks for the update Miche,

I should've stated the previous install attempts were done on an old laptop. Not sure if that has any bearing on the issue.

Will try to install on my (relatively newer) mbp.

First heard about NodeMaker on your episode with Brian Lewis - Modules Unraveled podcast, and was intrigued.

I tried to install on Linux (linuxmint 12 lxde). I selected All apps and All content.

This time I got as far as the 'Installing Content' and encountered the error as shown in the attachment.
