I have found just a new bug is Commerce Kickstart 2.0 rc1. I just want to test it. I used "acquia dev LAMP stack" for testing. It just install it very nicely. For uploading images for product i always use media selector as widget provided by media module 2.0. Now when i create a product or edit the existing one given by commerce kickstart as demo work and upload an image it uploaded but when i save the variation it produce validation message "* field required" after researching i found it is because of media module.

In short if you are used of media module 2.0 then i am afraid it is not going to work with commerce kickstart for inline entity form as widget for product reference field.

I installed media 2.0-unstable6 and configured "tops" product image field to use "Media file selector". Any error occur when adding an image on a product variation.

Can you copy paste the full error message please

this is not actually an error message, this is what media module doing some kind of validation for something that is not there.
validation message from media when add another image or save product variation is "* is required" in red color.

I am using Kickstart with media on 2.13. Please reopen if you are still experiencing problems after using that version?

This was an Inline Entity Form bug that got fixed a long time ago.
