I wanted to use Typogrify in a 6.x installation and created this patch after updating the code to work with 6.x.
I used the "Coder" module to ensure that the code was in compliance with the Drupal spec.

Tim Gambell commentedHi Beau,
Thanks so much for taking on that task! I'll create a 6.x branch based on your code once I get a chance to look it over. Again, much appreciated.

silurius commentedIs there any chance someone might list out some steps for creating a working Drupal 6 module out of this patch?
I've only patched a module once before, but that was for either 4.x or 5.x and my searches are failing me tonight. I would prefer to simply do it via file edits rather than mess around with patching software which, if I recall correctly, is often a pain if you don't already have it set up and are not using it regularly. Thanks in advance!

I've just updated the patch there. I've not looked, but that might be more up to date.
