Cannot set data of a date field (stat date, repeating, ..)

Hi, I want to set the data of a date field in my node. I thought that I could change/set the same values with Rules which I can set on creating a new node manually: start date, end date, repeating, ... !

Is there a work around? I have to set the values to values I received from an XML file.
