Authenticated User Download Not Working

Hi there.
The authenticated user download is not working. I am running drupal 4.7 and I have installed the fileshare module on my machine. The downloads work fine if I set the node type to public but if I switch it over to private, the uploads as an authenticated user work fine, the downloads however give me an "Access Denied - You are not authorized to access this page." message. The files can be downloaded from administrator or from authenticated user if I grant users "administer nodes" under "node module" in the permissions page.
This does not work as if a user can administer nodes, then he can access any file including data not uploaded using his user role. I have attached a snapshot of my settings which is similar to the one you had posted sometime ago in a different post.
