Have been using AWStats as my statistics package for several different PHP apps for some time with no trouble, but seem to be getting some weird results with Drupal. Unique visitors and visits look ok, but the number of pageviews AWStats is reporting looks way out. Both PHP-Stats and Google Analytics which I also use are reporting around 2 pageviews per visitor, but at present AWStats is reporting over 12 pageviews per visitor. I was certainly expecting a difference as AWStats is a log based analytical program where the others use javascript tracking which shouldn't be as accurate as not all visitors have javascript enabled. However, I wasn't expecting a discrepancy of 600% in page views. Does anybody have any ideas why this might be?

Brash,

Hmmm, I'm working to tune AWSTATS, I've had a few problems.

1. I can't get the /?q=node/X to read properly.
2. I too get 4 hits to one visit.

I will monitor this string, and respond if I find any answers..

I'm using Drupal with clean url's and I was wondering are the visits to these pages logged by AWStats? And also, I don't get any statistics for my sub domains, which are redirects to the same Drupal multilingual site. Any info anyone?

Well, there's this module - http://drupal.org/project/bawstats

This is an old thread but it came up recently in Google.
