I installed gallery2 and the gallery module on my drupal website. everything seems to be working well on the drupal installation as well as with the gallery2 installation. The only problem is I can't seem to enable the menu item for gallery after the installation. i get the following error when i try to edit menu items for gallery:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: checkactiveuser() in /home/alteredn/public_html/mangz/modules/gallery.module on line 246

any idea for a resolution would surely be appreciated.

Well... it seems like this module is not really complete
I can see many people have problems and very few working example of embeded gallery2.

It would be very nice if someone can publish a how-to or step by step tutorial
Anyway I will try to fight this issue and if I'll manage to solve it I'll publish such tutorial myself

Hi, since there was some release lately please check out...

1- The G2 version 1.0 of gallery.
2- The latest version of this module.
