If you let your shipping service define a Rules component, then the resulting component name has a limit of 64 chars. Going over this causes the site to crash.

This is entirely related to the Rules module and does not belong here - I might even be in the rules docs - have you checked?

It might be in the Rules docs.

But it's not immediately obvious when defining a shipping service in code that it's going to have an impact on Rules, is it? Hence why I think the docs could do to say this.
