How to install Gammu Library

Debian Linux

This is the most easiest way to install Gammu because Gammu already included into Debian default repository, simply execute:

# apt-get install gammu gammu-smsd

And you're done!

Download installation file from http://wammu.eu/download/

Windows

Go to http://wammu.eu/download/ and download Windows binary from here http://wammu.eu/download/gammu/win32/:

• Gammu-1.32.0-Windows-64bit.exe (3495 kiB)
• Gammu-1.32.0-Windows-64bit.zip (4 MiB)
• Gammu-1.32.0-Windows-Minimal.exe (1620 kiB)
• Gammu-1.32.0-Windows-Minimal.zip (1709 kiB)
• Gammu-1.32.0-Windows.exe (4 MiB)
• Gammu-1.32.0-Windows.zip (5 MiB)

The easiest way is using Windows executable. Check your Windows 32 or 64 bit. If you not sure, just using 32 bit.

To install simply run Gammu-1.32.0-Windows.exe.
