On the "Create content" page all products are grouped under one page at the listing node/add/product/listing.

On my install now whenever I choose another node type (page or story) I am not take to node/add/page but rather node/add/page/listing. That page is simply the same content of the product type listing, but rather than saying "Submit Product" as the title it says "Submit Page."

I noticed this first when trying to edit a "Tangible Subproduct" I had created. Rather than taking me to the edit page for the node I was viewing it took me to the node/add/product/listing page.

Steven,

go to admin > content management > content types and edit each non-product product and set as "never".
New contents are never marked as "optional".

Your suggestion took care of the issue with creating non-product nodes. But I still cannot edit any of the product nodes I have created. When I click on the Edit tab of any of the products I am sent to node/add/product/listing. Now instead of getting the list of all available product types I am not getting an Access Denied error telling me I am not allowed to create products. From the node/add page I can still see (and create) all of the products in this style:

Page
Product
--Attribute
--Non-Shippable product
--Tangible Subproduct
Story

Steven,

similar to the way i said, you should go to admin > content management > content types and edit product node type and set it as "always" and all product types. Im gonna create an update function to convert them automatically.

I am having the same problem even after following your advice. I was only using the built in product types (e.g. tangible, etc.) and I could not edit the nodes once created. I have the latest dev version too.
