I cannot change the number of days activity logs are stored.
The default was set at 360, but al activity is deleted after 30 days. Even after changing the number of days to 500 on admin/settings/activity_log, all activity older than 30 days is deleted when cron runs.

I have not experienced this and the code involved is very short and extremely straightforward. Not sure what would be going on here.
