I'd like to start here with list of open bugs in RTL version of Garland...

1. OL have wrong margins
2. OL LI might have wrong margins, too or is related to OL only.
3. primary menu is not correctly left floated (anywhere in the ~center of the page)
4. logo is aligned right, but vertical navigation is left - should be right, isn't it? With the logo aligned/floated right the space around the logo is very small and it "touches" the breadcrumb block.

Append your bugs here... :-)

I'm not sure and i cannot find the page where this image "task-list.png" is displayed... but it is referenced in the CSS and the line is marked with RTL, nevertheless it changes the position from left to right - it looks not RTL-ized yet. I think this is wrong, but we need someone from the RTL team to verify this. I'm attaching the RTL image for now, style-rtl.css needs a change to take this into account.

Additional i don't know what will happen with the "misc" watchdog-ok image...

The task list is used in the installer with this image and then checkmarks for the completed tasks.

Garland RTL contains position-is-everything CSS hack that will be inherited from core and should be removed.

Direction is also set in body and should be removed, too.

The right block often moves to the left or under the main text block. It seems to depend on depend on the taxonomy meny, but can't find a repeatable correlation.

Hass, at http://drupal.org/node/148084#comment-642898 you said there is a patch here. But above you said we should forget about it. Now what?

Well, in my understanding, "active" means "still needs to be worked on", not that "people actively work on this". Unless these issues are solved or they are proven to be non-issues, let this be out for people to find and fix.

@hass: If you are around, please make several issues for all the RTL-bugs you found, and make sure that the Issue title starts with "Garland: ". that way I'm able to quickly find the issues, and cover them.

Why are you not using "Advanced search" http://drupal.org/project/issues/search/? All Garland bugs are hopefully assigned to component "Garland theme".

Stefan Nagtegaal’s picture

they are not, that's why I asked you todo so..
