Desire: How can I provide granular control/access for the Moderation of Comments ??
I would like to do this by either by user/blogger or taxonomy/regions and selected roles.

I am currently trying to implement a blogging platform in Drupal and have run across a major problem for me. I'm wondering if anyone had found a fix/method for it (without having to program/hack).

The issue is that Drupal only allows the option to administer comments for every comment in the system. I want a blogger to only be able to administer just comments on their posts and nobody else's. I've looked all over and emailed a drupal dev to find the answer and nobody seems to have anything outside of hacking the "comment.module" file which is a BIG NO NO. I came across the usercomment module but for the life of me I cannot get it to work. Would this be something we should have Organic Groups for?

Is there perhaps a way to do it via Taxonomy, or Users, or ...

OR, are there other suggestions/methods ??

Basically, I still cannot see a way to control comment moderation in a granular fashion. That's what I need to know how to do. Thats why I'm confused.

Let me know what you guys are thinking, or what has worked. [[It's kind of crunch time so the sooner the better :-) ]]. Thanks Sabda.
