+1. Is anyone working on it?

Almost working onlinestatus module for 6.x. Almost because it is untested deeply and icons don't work. Please use in your local installation.

I'll be refactoring the D5 code next, but I'll take a look at the above code as part of that refactoring, which is to make adding new sites/IMs easier to add.
As part of the release of 2.x, a supported D6 version will also be released.

Thanks for taking over this module--I can't wait for the 6.x release!

I'll try and post something this week... apologies for delay, the D5 version rewrite I did is in production and looks good (with a much improved method for adding new services), so I'll release that and then do the D6 upgrade.

@sethcohn: Perfect timing. APK currently comes with a content type that has fields for aol, icq, facebook, etc and I've come looking to see if it makes more sense to replace that with this module. In order to do that, I'll need a D6 version so I'll be watching for it.

This is a great social networking module. I'm willing to test once you get a patch up.

Any progress on a 6 version?

I haven't worked on this, mostly due to lack of client need... (ie I worked on things people were paying me to spend my time on).
I'll review after Drupalcon, and hopefully release both a D6 and D7 version.

@sethcohn: Past one con and at the start of another. :) Anything going to happen with this? No pressure; just sorting out profiles on my site at the moment and trying to decide what to do with this stuff that's currently in CCK fields.
Thanks,
Michelle

Good question. Next week, since I'm not attending CPH, I'll be spending some time working on outstanding module work (sadly, I have a lot of it), and this will get some attention.
