So using the administration menu as an example.

'administer' - https://localhost/d52/admin
- 'content management' - https://localhost/d52/#
-- 'Books' - https://localhost/d52/admin/content/book

The above example is applicable for any of the submenus with children, and I see the same behavior with both 1.4-4 and the current dev released.

I have attached a screenshot of the menu and what the URL is when you mouse over 'content management'

Title: sub-menus with children, just display as # » sub-menus with children, just use the URL of # (and thus does nothing)

If I switch over to using top nav with built markup, all the URLs are displayed properly.

Thank you. Fixed on version 5.x-1.x-dev
But, please be sure you downlaad the file dated after 2007-Oct-06. (drupal has to build the package before you download and this takes some time.)

Cool, I'm not seeing that issue anymore. However it seems to have caused another problem. In IE6, when you mouse over a menu or sub-menu with a child what happens 9 times out of 10 reloads is ...

1) all the other top level menus have the text disappear
2) when you select submenu w/kids, all the text disappears

See the attachment for an screenshot examples.

I also noticed a strange interaction with simplemenu, where in 1.4-4 the focus was correct and whatever you selected remained in front. In 1.4-5, YUI Menu was always in front and simplemenu would project under YUI menu (in the header).
