The description for this project says

Export entities to use as default/demo content

The integration with Features module provides the ability to export UUID enabled entities with intact dependencies and references to other entities. This functionality depends on Deploy module 7.x-2.0-alpha1 (soon to be released) and is probably the most robust way for installation profiles and distributions to provide demo content!

How does integration between Deploy and Features work? From what I gather reading issue queues, UUID_Features *should* not be required, even though I can't seem to grok how to make this process work without it. Is there a writeup somewhere?

Yeah, basically, I think that a lot of people (me included) need some pointers on how to export entity in Features, using UUID and Deploy.
I installed all those modules, and still don't find any interesting interface that would give me a piece of answer...

I ran into similar difficulties and confusion as well, and managed to finally get somewhere with it today. I've added a page for this to the Deploy documentation. This is admittedly not yet fully tested, as I have not yet tested importing the entities I was able to export, but I should be back at it tomorrow and will update as necessary. This is the first documentation page I've written for d.o, so some review would be much appreciated!

Also, I think this issue probably belongs more in the Deploy module queue, but I wanted to update here first since the UUID project page suggests using Deploy to achieve Features exports of entities. Could we update the project page with a link to the documentation, and then move this to the Deploy issue queue for final review?
