it would be really cool to be able to have logos show up on a certain date and then expire on a certain date.
ie. holiday logos.
i know there is a node module that does that.

Could you post me a link to the node module that does it so I can see how they've implemented it? It's not difficult to *do* it, it's just difficult to find a simple way to 'ask' the admin how to give input for the effect.

Hmmm I'm afraid that's not all that helpful... Scheduler doesn't 'collect' information anywhere near the way logotool works and so their code isn't useful for me. If you can think of a good (unobtrusive) way of presenting scheduling to a user, then yes by all means I'll implement it. Note that you can post image files to this thread so perhaps a good idea might be to fabricate something up in photoshop or whatever image manipulation software you might have.
