Sorry but still issue not resolved!

Thanks for the suggestion but I think there is something still to be resolved.

Making the feed page to my front page will not resolve my problem because by doing so the other posts like blogs or stories will not appear on the front page. Let me know if I am wrong.

What I want to do is to continue the default front page and post the feeds to my front page. this way all the contents will appear on the front page including any blogs, story, page or feeds.

I need your help. I hope now I am able to make my intension's clear.

Please Advice ?

Thanks,
Nash

Consider tm's method below, creating two content areas. After playing with the feeds, I believe it to be the only way to get them to the front page with everything else as with feeds you can't individually promote them to the front page the same way you can other nodes.

I assume you are using the aggregator.module which comes with core ? That being said, you may want to investigate the other feed modules in the downloads area, which may or may not provide for you what you seek, if you don't want to use the panels method mentioned.

Another possibility

if you are a non-programmer (like me), consider the panels module. you can use it to sub-divide your content area, including the use of the "blog" and "aggregator" nodes in their own areas. then follow VM's instruction and make that your front page (test it first!). use panels; panels 2 is still in alpha testing (unless i missed the update).

if you are a coder (or themer) consiider either regions or a custom front page template (the theming handbook).

good luck!

Thanks for all your help

Hey guys,

I appreciate your help.
I was searching through the modules section and found this one
http://drupal.org/project/planet

This is a module which seems similar to what I am looking. Just downloading and testing. Will keep you guys posted so that other people can have an instant solution for the similar issues.

Thanks,
