the imagecache directory not geting formed [#181523]

i have clean urls enabled...no errors are being seen..but the dir does not form...
files have chmod 777.

pls help..i was thinking this module wld be very useful..

maybe i am missing something...there's not enough documentation...

wld be nice if u cld details the steps..and necessary conditions to make it work ..thanks

If you create the directory manually does it work?

no it doesnt work ..i can make the directory..but the module doesnt seem to work

Can you share you file directory path, the perms on the folder, the user who apache is running as?
