Hi all

Am trying to install the location module and make some views and am having some problems.

Im in the UK and am hoping that users can search for each other and see how far away each other is by way of views. So I have location views and all that installed, but there is no database for UK postcodes.

I have a list of post codes and long/lat stats, but there in a completly diffferent format to say the US one that is included, also I have no idea how to write them to the database.

Im a complete noob with DB stuff like this, so dont know what im doing. So my questions are;

What format should they be in?

Has anyone got a proper UK one they would be willing to give me?

And lastly, how do I make it work?

The thing is, i manage to make it work nicely if i use US address.. when i type in the UK address , there's no link to google map, which is should be.

Hi,

I think in the present installation you have to alter uk.inc file.
The de.inc file has a patch somewhere within gmap.

I am from the nl. And I don't have it working also...
There are tallks about a global solution also within the gmap issuelog.

Do you by change now how I can get the map to show, and not the link to the map?
