Setup Gammu on VPS Environment

This Gammu module supports external database access, thus you can use it on a VPS-Client without access to COM Port directly. This documentation explain how to use Gammu on VPS:

  1. Suppose you have a VPS-Client (Dom-U) but you didn't have direct access to COM Ports of Dom-0
  2. Attach the SMS Modem to any Serial or USB Ports, make sure Gammu have installed properly
  3. If you want to use single modem for several Drupal sites then create separate DB username/password for each site
  4. Enter MySQL settings of Gammu, see below:

  5. Try to send SMS on Test Gammu page, as shown below:
