Just wondering if it would be possible to move the update beanstag menu item to configuration > beanstag > update

is there any reason to move the that menu item under configuration? we intend to put it on the root level on the menu so as to allow the user to update the beanstag of the current path by just simply one click.

Right, I see. I did wonder if it was intentional for reason you mentioned. It looks not right as all other module functionality belongs under a configuration option.

Could users not just create a shortcut for the mod if a one click design is desirable?

Do you mean allowing user to disable the update beanstag shortcut on the menu toolbar? That is doable. =D

I mean just placing the link within the configuration area where all the other mods links are and using either default toolbar shortcut menu or admin menu to create a shortcut link in the toolbar.
