If you enter an event to start at 12pm (Noon) and save it, it does not display on the calendar. If you edit the event and change the start time to 12am (Midnight) and save it, it actually saves as 12pm (noon) and displays as such. Heads up!

nancydruThere may be only a misunderstanding here. In actuality 12:00 is neither AM nor PM; one is midnight and the other noon.

Mac Clemmens commentedSo given that the input box has an AM and PM radio button, if we want to set an event to occur at noon, how should we set it? If we can't use 12pm to indicate noon, then this input form conflicts with the way digital clocks and computers generally handle this information.

Mac Clemmens commentedHere's the problem with how it works:
I enter an event to have start time
19 December 2007 09:35 am
with no end date.
I save it .. no problem.
Then I click edit and change it to
19 December 2007 12:35 am
I save it... the save doesn't take effect. It's still says 9:35am.
So then I edit again. This time I change the End Date (Even though I didn't check the "Event has end date box") and change the time to 1pm. I also change it to start at
19 December 2007 12:35 pm
Now I save and voila...except it now says End: 00/00/0000 12:00am and everything is screwed up. If I try to edit, I get errors.
Somehow the 12pm and 12am times aren't getting converted correctly, Any tips?

jtjones23 commentedSame here. I'm unable to enter an event that starts 12 pm (assuming noon) and ends at 1 pm on the same day. Works fine if I choose 12 am as the start time but my users (who are able to submit events for moderation) are not going to remember this. Especially, since the 12 am start time is displayed as 12 pm.

japerryEvent for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
