Is there any good method for getting spin reports or any other data on how many tracks were played from x album etc...

not really. i'd whipped up the following patch for kpsu that displays the most played tracks in a configurable length of time.

Thanks for getting back to me. I am seriously considering using the module for our station and playlist statistics area a big sell.

Would it be easy to hire someone who could add a custom field to the playlists and allow us to break down play counts by whatever fields we wanted? I know "spinitron" has something to this effect and WFMU has an in house system that looks much like the station module (in terms of functionality).

The Drupal 5 versions are no longer supported, if someone would like to step up to co-maintain it then please do so, otherwise future work will only happen for D6 and D7. Thank you.
