Adsense tab and field show up in user profile, how to remove them?

i second the need for this solution

Ditto to the above, if nothing else it looks a bit unprofessional to the user, like it shouldn't be there.

I assume? it's safe and that this isn't an error on my part in configuring the module? I've gone through the docs and settings several times if there's anything about eliminating this I'm missing it.

If you want revenue sharing, the field must be present and visible to users.

If you don't want revenue sharing, which I assume is your case, then you can use the 5.x-2.0 tarball, and enable the "basic" module only.

In this case you do not need to setup a profile field at all, and hence there is nothing to hide from the users.

I don't have that module enabled, only the basic and api modules. The field still shows up though for a normal user...

I should maybe clarify, this is for users with no special roles/permissions, just joe blow creating an account.

If you are not using the revenue sharing module, then you do not need the profile field at all.

In this case the Google Adsense ID is taken from what you enter here: admin/settings/adsense/adsense_basic

So, go and visit admin/user/profile and delete that field.

Close this issue when you have done so and verified this as working.
