I'm exploring three e-commerce options, namely e-commerce, Ubercart and ERP.
I simply cannot find a way to send anonymous customers a receipt after a transaction has been made. I'm refering to a receipt from my site, and not one from a 3rd-party payment gateway.
Now, I know that Ubercart and e-commerce can interfere with one another, even if one's modules have been removed before the other's has been installed. And so I am not sure if my problem stems from
1- that functionality is simply not there.
2- I don't know how to configure the modules properly.
3- I should just try to stick with one solution.
I am reverting back to an base-install database on a test site, from time to time, but that is tedious and I would like some insight as to whether I should use one solution or another.
Can you send a receipt (or payed invoice) to an anonymous user after a purchase and if so, how?
