The dark days are over, and imagecache now works great with clean and dirty URLs alike. That is, in my opinion, a reason to put the error message to rest that indicated that imagecache would not work when clean URLs were disabled. Everyone loves clean admin overview pages!

No 1.x requires clean URLS... only head works without it.
