tinymce removes <br /> tags?

Hello,
Although
is allowed in Administer > Site configuaration > Input formats, tinymce seems to remove the
tags.
In edit mode I can see them, but when I post they're gone.

I tried something with the configurations of the Filtered HTML, and after unchecking HTML filter, it works.
Dont understand why, though.
Tried almost everything all day, nothing worked.
After posting my question the solution came in 10 secs.
There is a God. It's name is Drupal.
you probably have to add it
you probably have to add it to the list of tags. I' m not positive it's 100% necessary, but I have both <br> and <br /> in my list of allowable tags.
