Using D7.16.
I'm trying to delete spam user accounts. I've tried selecting one and selecting many. Choosing "Cancel the selected user accounts" from the dropdown as well as going into the account and clicking the cancel button. I'm asked to confirm and when I do I'm taken to the site home page and the accounts are still there and nothing has been changed.
No matter what i do, I cannot delete these user accounts.
I've tried different browsers and also different admin themes but the problem remains.

I solved my issue by disabling the Lightbox2 module, which apparently was causing the problem (see http://drupal.org/node/1855512).
