My site is multilingual with 3 languages (english, spanish, basque).
Taxonomy menu's counter display number of nodes in any language.
For example if I have 1 content in term "Health", translated to spanish (and term "Salud" in spanish), counter displays:
in english version: Health (2)
in spanish version: Salud (2)
I expected to see only number of nodes in actual language.
In previous example, this will be:
in english version: Health (1)
in spanish version: Salud (1)
I attach multilingual options in this content type, vocabulary multilingual options and actual menu.
I really don't know if this will be a new feature or it is a bug. I hope you can help.

hles commentedI will postpone it for now because we need a stable version of taxonomy menu 2.x first to solve these issues related to languages.

lima2x commentedI confirm that counting in multilingial environment doesn't work either on 7.x-1.4
The module is adding all contents without taking care of current frontend language.

hles commentedOnly 2.x has the tools to solve this issue. Work has to be done in 2.x version.
