Hi there,
I'm having a few problems after upgrading. The upgrade went ok but now when visit the testing site, I hit the home link and I get "Page not found". My url becomes XXXXX/?q=?q= and after that all links lead to same thing ?q=?q=archives etc...(except if I click a forum topic) If I remove one ?q= the homepage (and others) appears correctly!
Another problem is when I logout (admin and user), the navigation menu under the login is still on with permission to continue (without the logout and my account options).
Can anyone help me?

I've had this problem before and so have other people. There was a forum topic about this last week, and now its dissapeared. There was also a bug filed for it, and I can't find that either.
So, either the topic and bug for this issue is sitting right in front of my face and I'm not seeing it, or someone deleted them. :(
In any case, as of last week there was no resolution on this problem. Once I switched to using clean URLs I never had the problem again, so I never pursuid the bug. Is there any way you could figure out exactly how to reproduce the problem? Like step 1) Install a clean copy of drupal 4.5.2. 2) do such and such 3) and do this to cause the error.
This way we can try to narrow down exactly where the problem lies.

phptemplate engine
Hey,
you're right, after switching to clean URL's the problem was gone. But the login and logout still persists.
Anyway, I think it has something to do with the phptemplate engine. With a clean 4.5.2 the problem doesn't appear. But when I tried to use themes that needs phptemplate (box_grey kubrick boxcleanslate marvin_2k_phptemplate) and others that don't, the ones who need phptemplate got the problem.
What do you think?
And can u help me out with the login problem?

Could be phptemplate, sounds like you might be getting closer.

What does "on with permission to continue" mean? I know about the navigation menu - even anonymous users are show the navigation menu.

With permission to continue I mean for example:
I login as admin, navigate and then logout. But after the logout the administer link (and other links) is still there, allowing me to work as if I was logged in.
Any ideas?
